An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.
These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and have since been released.
Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Police were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.
The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
